This podcast is a really fun listen and it’s nearly a 5/5 for me in a lot of aspects, however, I do feel the need to bring up the one real issue I have with the show’s writing; which is the honestly racist stereotyping and writing of the Haan family. The constant framing of the characters’ lack of accents being an apparent source of strangeness due to the characters’ race is really a strange choice. I listened to TMA and TMP steadily throughout the last year, and it did NOT disappoint. Every time I thought we got through the biggest mind bending twists in TMA, another one pops up that slots into place so nicely. Protocol is a great sequel too, and now that I’ve caught up I’m waiting for every Thursday with baited breath.

While i listen to this in the background, i am glad I have the notebooks around to quickly take notes, as this series is a absolutely gorgeous stream of mysteries to detangle.
