The place hasn’t been the same without you. Thanks for the excellent work.
I've read and heard this story so many times. I come back to this story regularly, in times of stress and loneliness, because Keisha is such a compelling force, that with her, I can keep moving through my hard times.
This is one of my favorite stories of all time. The story is scary and mysterious and moving and evokes such a particular feeling. I cannot recommend it enough.
"Welcome To Night Vale" was one of the pioneers in the early years of podcasting, and was one of the few that became popular enough to gain the attention of the media (in those days, most people hadn't heard of podcasts, "Serial" didn't exist yet, and there were no true crime podcasts). WTNV was comedy/horror; then its authors created "Alice Isn't Dead", non-comedy horror, which I don't usually like. But I loved it just as much. These authors & performers are brilliant...
Wonderful, engaging storyline, amazing voice actors. It sucks that people type up whole ESSAYS on how much this sucks and that they’re “pushing their liberal ideals onto us”. (They aren’t) the eeriness and existential dread and emotions in the plot are masterfully done. You should definitely try out Alice isn’t dead if you like things like the Magnus archives or welcome to night vale.

A moodily atmospheric fiction series that follows a truck driver across America as she searches for a missing wife, weaving in conspiracy, eerie encounters, and surreal road-trip imagery. Episodes frequently center on claustrophobic landscapes, haunting characters, and a larger mythos that stretches beyond a single disappearance, with meta-promos and creator-driven worldbuilding adding layers for engaged listeners. Notable strengths include strong voice acting, immersive narration, and a commitment to queer representation within a road-centric mystery setting. The show tends to attract listeners who enjoy dark, character-driven storytelling with a suspenseful, mythic spine and episodic threads that reward long-form listening.
