A truck driver searches across America for the wife she had long assumed was dead. In the course of her search, she will encounter not-quite-human serial murderers, towns literally lost in time, and a conspiracy that goes way beyond one missing woman.

So glad Keisha is back— I really wasn’t sure how the show would pick up from what I felt was a very final, no-loose-ends ending, but I really like the new season’s focus on more magical aspects.
I will say that this show has a very particular style, which is different from a lot of popular audio dramas out there. If you prefer your audio dramas to sound as close to real life as possible, this is probably not the one from you— however, I love that it doesn’t linger in the “awkward, almost-realist... more
Captivating. Intriguing and clever
Has there ever been such a beautiful mix of philosophy and horror while talking to yourself in the middle of nowhere, or perhaps, several nowheres? Thank you so much, for making this amazing podcast, you guys are my absolute favorite!
Surreal and bizarre, sometimes very dark road trip with a typical Night Vale dash of astute attention to detail for the absurdities of real life, even though it is fantastical fiction. A moodily atmospheric fiction series that follows a truck driver across America as she searches for a missing wife, weaving in conspiracy, eerie encounters, and surreal road-trip imagery. Episodes frequently center on claustrophobic landscapes, haunting characters, and a larger mythos that stretches beyond a single disappearance, with meta-promos and creator-driven worldbuilding adding layers for engaged listeners. Notable strengths include strong voice acting, immersive narration, and a commitment to queer representation within a road-centric mystery setting. The show tends to attract listeners who enjoy dark, character-driven storytelling with a suspenseful, mythic spine and episodic threads that reward long-form listening.
