And just like any other town, Mayfair has a secret - one that everyone knows, but almost no one says: Along the bus routes and down silent wooded roads, behind the mill and at the dark end of parking lots, at the edge of the ... more

  • The early episodes were enjoyable enough to ignore the insufferable wokeness, the pronouns, etc. Unfortunately, the more current episodes aren't strong enough to distract from the negatives...too bad

  • Incredible Story telling

I found the podcast because my favorite voice actors from The No Sleep Podcast were featured in their first few episodes. I love this so much. I enjoy listening while on my way to work or during my lunch break. It’s now in my top 5 favorite podcasts to listen too.

  • I Took A Star Away In Protest of The HORRIBLE new Theme Song

The theme song for the first season of this podcast was fantastic. Use of various voices in a kind of audio collage was so original. The use of different adjectives and other effects on the voices was FANTASTIC . By way of contrast the theme song for season two is HORRENDOUS . it has NONE of the charm, and NONE of the dread produced by the first season’s theme song. So far I like the new episodes but I’m very disturbed by the aesthetic choice of taking a brilliant first season theme song and t... more

  • Okay concepts, horrible execution.

The concepts for the episodes are usually pretty good, and I have a ton of respect for a lot of the writers from their outside work. However, the mixing and sound quality is always super iffy, and a lot of the plots rely on traumatic subject matter to convey “horror” in lieu of effective scares, and the show notes quite often neglect to give accurate trigger warnings. This show could be so good, but it falls short in a way that makes it incredibly difficult to listen to.
