"Listen up, team. Time is short, but the plan is simple. The target is supposed to be somewhere in this park. A large, orange slime. Burtkurt's research tells us it should be relatively friendly, which definitely works in our favor."

Stop it with the situationally comedic person stuff I want more scp content
This is like a lot of podcasts. Fall in love with the first few seasons and then the show “gets creative”. On to the next one, I guess. It’s a shame because old episodes were so good.
Listened from the beginning, first couple years have some brilliant writing.
First half of the episode describes the Anomaly objectively, Second half illustrates a story involving the Anomaly, often its origin story or a drama involving SCP Foundation Workers.
A great collaboration with years of internet fans.
Last few years the writing has suffered. Episodes meander and the stories rely too much on “excruciatingly long existential dread” which is not interesting to listen to.

A fiction-driven audio drama with a strong SCP Foundation lens, blending workplace satire, contained horror, and character-driven plots. Episodes cycle through multi-threaded stories featuring D-class onboarding, rogue teams, and interviews with anomalous objects, all delivered with witty banter, meta-narrative jokes, and recurring sponsors. Listeners tend to enjoy intricate world-building, long-form readings, and dry humor that lampoons corporate culture within a contained, high-stakes setting. The format's standout is its fully scripted ensemble, a rotating cast of recurring characters, and self-aware production touches that mix horror with humor across overlapping arcs.
