They were bitter rivals, ideological opposites, and even went out on a date once - though they’d really prefer if everyone forgot about that last thing, thank you very much.
Then, they became the first two ... more

Anthropological artifacts give academics superpowers. That's it in a nutshell. Has elements of Modes of Thought in Antierran Literature, but it's more focused on narrative than world building, though there's plenty of that too. A quality show, a lot of effort clearly went into crafting an engaging world.
Y'all, do you like protagonists bickering and benevolent billionaires?
This series from the creator of Wolf 359 has become my favorite and has it all. Snappy dialogue, interesting characters, an engrossing story presented in a intriguing manner. I hope there will be several seasons.
Well written, really interesting premise. Worth the listen, however - this is more than storytelling. If it was a story that had some peripheral political elements or personalities it would be more palatable, but I came here for the witch aspect. The writers have an extreme leftist/borderline radical agenda they're pushing. I don't subscribe to either side, red or blue, and when I come to these worlds of fiction I'm looking to escape the propaganda that is forced on us in our day-to-day lives.
I don’t get the high ratings and praise. It’s as if when writing it, the writer decided the main characteristic for all the characters is “arrogant and unlikable”. And the dialog is just them bickering and even yelling over each other which, in a podcast, could be one the most annoying things to have to listen to. I made it to episode four when I realized I had to listen to the exact same date scene again as if it wasn’t unpleasant enough the first time around and i tapped out.
