  • A joy to listen to 🌹🌹🌹

Watching show for first time on Netflix UK and didn’t expect much but have found to my surprise it is very addictive and even more surprising, often very moving. Picked up on the podcast and it adds so much more to the viewing experience. Michael and Tom are a fantastic double act. Michael is so up-front and off-the-cuff with his opinions, Tom also very honest but more considered. Together they are insightful, very funny, entertaining and heart-warming. Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Bulletproof w/ PHIL MORRIS!
Q: Does Clark's choice to join the fight reflect a broader commentary on vigilante justice vs. law enforcement?
Yes, the hosts discuss that Clark's stance evolves from cautious non-interference to actively protecting people, emphasizing a nuanced take on justice that doesn't fit neatly into either camp.
Bride w/ SAM WITWER!
Q: As a first-time viewer, did you think Lana's return added value to the storyline or did it hinder Clark's character development?
The panel acknowledges Lana's return added emotional weight and complex dynamics, but some feel it briefly paused momentum; overall, it provided opportunities for character growth and reconciling past relationships.
Abyss
Q: What was your take on Clark erasing Chloe's memory in Abyss?
The hosts reflect that it was a bold, morally complex choice that served the plot's forward momentum, but also created emotional and relational tensions that will shape subsequent episodes.
Bloodline w/ LAURA VANDERVOORT!
Q: Fatima from Pakistan asks who sent Clark to the Crystal and hints at Lex's possible involvement. How would you interpret the setup around the Crystal's origin?
The consensus among the hosts is that it's unclear who sent the Crystal; Lex's potential involvement is discussed, but nothing definitive is stated, leaving room for fan theory about a greater long-game by Lex or another unseen force.
Plastique
Q: What are the wardrobe changes behind season eight transition from farm boy Clark to Daily Planet reporter Clark?
The biggest change involved custom-made shirts for Tom, with hundreds of shirts produced by a Vancouver tailor to ensure consistency throughout filming a large number of episodes.
