An episode that was a long time in the making. Cathy is my wine mentor and a great friend.
I am a big fan of the modern wines coming out of South Africa. So after a very long time away from the podcast, I was delighted when Cathy said yes to this i... more
I waited a long time for the opportunity to record this conversation. Iro is a good friend, but she's a very busy lady! Working in the Summer season as a Sommelier in a seafood restaurant in Chania, and the rest of the year as an Ambassador for the W... more
In this episode, I was joined by Chef Michael Caines MBE, Chef Owner of Lympstone Manor, Country Hotel, Restaurant and Vineyard alongside his longstanding Operations Manager, Steve Edwards.
It's a hard enough job, starting a Country Hotel, in a run... more

A few days before Christmas, I got together with my friend, Demetri Walters MW to hear what floats his Christmas drinks boat in 2023.
We talked about the obvious Christmas drinks most of us love, like Port, Sherry (not your Grandma's) but we also t... more
Wine books. The wine world would be poorer without them. A good wine book is not just a vinous guide or a reference. It is often a companion, a walking pace way of telling a wine's story. And what could be nicer than sitting comfortably, I'm thinking... more
The best wine podcast out there. Genuine search for top producers, with a solid, dedicated wine focus and a personal touch. An absolute gem of a podcast.
Interesting guests make this a podcast where I feel that I always come away with some newfound knowledge.
Moshe is an excellent host. He clearly knows his subject and talks with genuine passion about wine.
He has incredible access to a wide array of wine producers and is able to draw some wonderful stories from his interviewees.
Recommend to anyone who may just have a general interest in wine or to the hard core wine geeks (we know who we are!).
Love this podcast, really well researched and Moshe passion comes through in the interviews. Love the phrase…hello wine friends.
Great host and great discussions with the guests. My favorite part on the recent episode was their discussion about the challenges currently faced by the wine industry caused by the climate change. Very insightful show.
What a great podcast, wonderfully paced deep discussions with passionate winemakers. The host has deep wine knowledge which adds greatly to the discussion.
Best podcast for getting deep insights into the various wine regions around the world
I’m not a huge wine drinker but when I discovered this podcast after I listen one episode subscribed.
Firs off it’s an engaging wine podcast. Instead of talking about boring nuances only the most experts would get this guy talks to the wine makers.
I also liked they are on location so you hear real people speak like normal conversation about wine.

Some great guests and very informative.
This wine podcast is amazing!! One of my favourite wine podcasts. I like Moshe's approach to interviewing each wine person with knowledge and sensitivity. Looking forward to listening to many more future episodes.
This podcast offers a beautifully fresh perspective on an age old craft. In this series, the host, Moshe Cohen, explores a colorful selection of his favorite wineries and through his delightful and insightful conversation, Moshe masterfully invites the listener past the wine’s grapes and subtle notes to a taste of the wine’s very essence and character - the hearts, souls and lives of the vintners and their families that are an inseparable part of every bottle we enjoy.

As a novice wine fan, this podcast sheds light on how much passion and thought goes into the production of my favourite tipple. Some of the stories that come out of the conversations Moshe has are incredible. The winemakers who share what makes them tick and how their product has evolved are fascinating.
