Having been one of many involved in working on this case, in the criminal justice system, I can attest that this is an absolutely superb account of what I and others understand as being very accurate. It has been told with detail and yet great sensitivity. Apart from a couple of details with names and terminology, it’s one of the best true crime podcasts that I’ve ever listened to. DC Thomson has done a great job on this case.
I came across this podcast via the P&J app have listened to series 2 & 3 all in one night. Both contained some really excellent journalism. They were extremely well investigated, intriguing presentations of fascinating cases. Additionally each case was sensitivity handled without shying away from the facts. I’m really impressed. Mr X is such a good podcast. Cracking story, loads of twist and turns. Really enjoyed it. Could do with less sound effects and louder dialogue.
Sensitive and thorough
Not too bad but spoiled by the accent of the narrator. Mispronunciation of names and places was jarring. The way he pronounces words such as wedding as weddink just annoys the ears.
