  • Not informative

I was hoping to hear more talk about policy in detail but this show pretty much just runs over the same summary of simple answers with no explaination that the current admin does while continuing to place blame on democrats and Joe Biden. Was hoping to hear good ideas and solutions rather than a boot licking and blame game show.

  • Misinformation Generator

This podcast is a waste of time and lacks truth in most of its topics. They look to mislead and misinform. Not at all what I would recommend to anyone looking for facts.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Can America Keep the Lights On? | Jack Spencer
Q: Is energy independence the right goal, or should we focus on affordable, abundant, and reliable energy with open trade?
The guest emphasizes the importance of access to affordable, abundant, and reliable energy, coupled with open trade and alliances, rather than a pure aim of independence that could hamper market access and energy security.
Can America Keep the Lights On? | Jack Spencer
Q: Let's talk about the baseline. What does American energy policy currently look like?
The guest argues that the U.S. is moving from energy scarcity to abundance, with easier development of oil, gas, and even nuclear resources, while also noting the role of regulations and subsidies in shaping the economics of wind and solar.
Why Did AOC Freeze Her Eggs? A New Look at Fertility | Marguerite Duane
Q: What role do technologies like IVF and fertility tracking apps play, and how should patients approach their use?
Technology can help but must be paired with full informed consent and realistic expectations about success rates. Patients should learn to observe their biological signals and avoid relying solely on technology without addressing underlying health issues when present.
Why Did AOC Freeze Her Eggs? A New Look at Fertility | Marguerite Duane
Q: Is egg freezing a reliable insurance policy for having children later in life, or should policy focus on enabling families earlier?
Egg freezing is not a guaranteed path to a baby; many cycles don't result in a live birth. A focus on health, lifestyle, and societal supports that allow people to start families earlier—like workplace flexibility and parental leave—can improve fertility outcomes and reduce miscarriage risk.
Why Did AOC Freeze Her Eggs? A New Look at Fertility | Marguerite Duane
Q: Big video of AOC injecting herself to freeze her eggs—what are your thoughts on how we view conversations about fertility when men and women are at different points in their lives?
Fertility concerns affect both genders, but women face a shorter reproductive window; men can experience aging effects too, especially after 40, and society often places heavier pressure on women to be the ones managing family timing. The key is to normalize conversations about reproductive life planning for both sexes and to recognize fertility as a couple's issue rather than a solely female responsibility.
