  • Love Dr.Arn

Were it not for Dr. Arn this would be a swipe and delete. What’s with “Morning Glory America and Bonjour Hi Canada?” And tell Scott Bertram to send his resume and tapes to a third rate game show that needs an announcer. If he talks like that all the time I pity the people that are within earshot. I think in the radio business they call that a “puker”.

Anyway, I could listen to Dr. Arn for hours. Thanks for taking the time and Hugh, thanks for doing the Hillsdale Hour. I’ve listened to them all. more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The War with Iran Continues
Q: How do you assess Ukraine's resilience and its role as a NATO ally?
Ukraine has exceeded expectations in mobilization and innovation, notably in drone production and combat endurance, making it a crucial, credible ally that reshapes Western security calculations.
The War with Iran Continues
Q: What do you think Lindsey Graham represents in today's political landscape?
He embodies hawkish-leaning defense instincts, often pushing for strong, decisive action; his unpredictability makes him influential, yet his support can oscillate with evolving circumstances.
Churchill’s The Second World War, Part Twenty-Six
Q: Why did Hitler pause the tanks?
The pause is attributed to a combination of fog of war, German general staff advice, and a strategic risk calculation as their victory momentum grew; Churchill notes this pause as a pivotal but complex moment that delayed the German advance.
The Rising Tide of Political Violence
Q: Dr. Arnn, the Supreme Court did something last week which you described as truly magnificent. Could you explain what this decision means for how race is treated in districting?
The court ruled that race cannot be used to award or deny a district in the absence of a previously proven, definite intention to use race for these purposes. In practical terms, this ends race-based considerations in district drawing and pushes the system toward neutral criteria, reducing race as a determinative factor in redistricting.
The War in Iran
Q: What's the end game here?
The guests discuss possibilities from declaring victory and withdrawing to maintaining a limited presence to deter further aggression, emphasizing strategic clarity over achieving utopian outcomes.
