I have enjoyed Hillsdale Online Courses for nigh on a decade. I really enjoy the podcasts as I am able to multitask while listening. The online works, also, but I cannot multitask because I have to do subject matter tests. The programs on Marxism, socialism and Communism, as well as the Totalitarian Novels, are must listen!
Just listened to the course on capitalism. I love learning in this format. Thank you! Suggestion for future podcast courses: Hmm- I love economics and history, but also science- how about a human health course?
Thanks for shining a bright light of truth in a world of leftist darkness!
These podcasts make it easy to learn core concepts of liberal education. Hoping to see the courses on Lewis or philosophy and theology soon!
Great content, overpowering music not sure I can hang in there for all of it. It’s a little Bit irritating it takes away from the content itself.

The program delivers free Hillsdale College online courses via podcast, often featuring philosophy of government, constitutional history, and classical liberalism. Episodes frequently explore foundational texts and historical figures, with host-led discussions that connect theory to modern governance. A standout trait is the clear emphasis on natural rights, constitutional design, and the tension between majority rule and minority protections, often paired with course previews and guest insights. This makes it useful for listeners seeking rigorous, lecture-style exploration of American political thought, history, and education—especially those attracted to conservative-leaning analysis and formal civic education.
