The recent course on Dickens’s A Christmas Carol was truly inspirational and brought the book and all the films to life with many fascinating insights - highly recommended
Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”
I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast course, especially as Christmas is almost here.
The instructor shared details and nuances that were interesting, and some that were new to me. I highly recommend this particular course, no matter the time of year.
I am grateful to Hillsdale College for offering these online courses for free and also in podcast form.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Mowery
Seems to me that this course needs to be updated based on the most recent election, which repudiated the Biden immigration policy
Hillsdale College has some great content but it’s important to note that they have a clear conservative bias. It’s still very good information but to get the most out of it you should keep in mind that they have a certain viewpoint that permeates through all of their content. Their courses on the Roman Republic and Ancient Greece on their website are also very good. Think for yourself; Question authority.
I enjoy the Hillsdale online courses but don’t always have time to sit and watch them. On podcast on my phone is so much better! Thank u!!
