It is mind boggling how long this fraud has been going on and that it has been known locally for over a decade. Very thorough reporting. Thank you!

  • Maths can be fun and create purpose

Maths was the pain and horror of my childhood days at German Gymnasium. That may have been totally different if my teachers would have explained it the way Sam Clausen does at K12 center for teacher excellence.

I really enjoyed Sam Clausen’s October 2024 lecture on how to teach maths with explanations, questions, providing every day life context up to demonstrating in inherent answers and questions of logic, life, creation, world view and purpose in maths.

I have enjoyed listening. There was a man that told me “the truth is anything I tell you that you believe”. It really has caused a problem but I think most of your podcast are verifiably true.

Hot Diggedy Dog! Two of my favorites joining forces. I am absolutely ecstatic to get to hear these two in conversation and debate. They both are so very inspiring and insightful when it comes to the truth in constitutional law and individual civil liberties. I have been listening to their individual podcasts for many years. I have bought “The US Constitution”, A Reader from Hillsdale College and receive “The Imprimis”. Every podcast and piece of literature that Larry Arnn and Mark Levin w... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Politics of Shakespeare, Part Four
Q: What is the speech of the Bastard about?
It provides the resolution to the play's tensions by arguing that England should be unified by a shared national identity rather than factional interests or hereditary rule.
Kathleen O’Toole and Matthew Spalding: The Making of the American Mind
Q: What did you discover about the influence of philosophers like John Locke versus classical thinkers like Cicero on the Declaration and the broader founding?
The discussion notes that while Locke's Second Treatise provided some phrases, the broader influence comes from classical Roman thought and natural law via Cicero, with Christianity also shaping the philosophical backdrop; Locke's influence is real but not as dominant as sometimes assumed.
Kathleen O’Toole and Matthew Spalding: The Making of the American Mind
Q: As you dug into the history behind the language of the Declaration, where did you look and what sources did you rely on?
The authors emphasize starting with general history and biographies, reading the Continental Congress's letters, and examining primary sources to trace phrases to their historical origins, while also reading modern scholarship to connect those phrases to the broader story of the founding.
Mary Katharine Ham and the New World of Media
Q: What makes the study of logic and rhetoric valuable for everyday life?
It improves how we think, speak, and listen, helping people evaluate arguments critically, communicate clearly, and engage with others more constructively in daily interactions.
Mary Katharine Ham and the New World of Media
Q: How has media credibility evolved with new platforms and formats?
Credibility now relies on cross-checking information across diverse sources, testing priors, and seeking trustworthy voices even when they challenge your own views.
