  • Everyone should listen to this podcast RIGHT NOW !!!!

I love this podcast! Matt and Allison have exactly the type of humor that I vibe with, and are genuinely so fun and nice to listen to. Been listening for months now, and every episode is uniquely fun and a great listen. Only “complaint” I have is the fact that there should be more of my favourites, The New Mutants (lol). Generally, 9.9/10. When they finally have the chance to finish X-Force V1 it’ll be a 10. Anyway, if you’re an X-Fan, you’ll love this podcast! It’s great!

Listening now- I can’t believe there was any question wether I enjoyed myself. You guys had really great questions and insights on a book that — while maybe a blip— I really loved making. Thanks for having me.

  • Ready for Revelations!

Most recent episode was awesome!! Will say though, Doug/Cypher was on both X-Factor and X-Force. During the Second Coming event Doug was sent with the X-Force to take down a Master Mold. And Cypher and Warlock were both part of the private Serval Industries X-Factor, the X-Factor team during the Bendis era

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

DNX Preview with Jed MacKay
Q: Why include the Fantastic Four in the crossover instead of keeping it X-Men vs. Avengers?
Publishing decisions shifted the lineup, and bringing in the Fantastic Four allows a natural fit for science-driven plotlines and a family-team dynamic that complements the X-Men setup, while Tom (editor) kept things cohesive across books.
DNX Preview with Jed MacKay
Q: What is the pitch for folks on the fence about DNX?
DNX is the big fight we've been building toward from X-Men #1, with clear winners and losers but a storyline that reshapes the team and leaves a substantial footprint on the world, signaling a transformative direction for the book.
Absolute Wonder Woman: Year 1 Talk Back with Kelly Thompson
Q: What inspired you to make Cersei Diana's maternal figure in the run, and is there any hope of Absolute Grail appearing in this universe?
Cersei's role emerged from a rich development process where Thompson explored how Diana could be raised by an enemy in the underworld, allowing for a deeper shift in Diana's world and power dynamics. Grail was acknowledged as a potential direction, but any inclusion would require a strong, well-structured idea; the conversation signals openness to big, integrated crossovers while signaling that decisions are deliberate and guarded.
Wolve-Ween 2025 (1 Year on Wolverine Interview with Saladin Ahmed + Chris Claremont and Frank Miller's Wolverine Vol 1 with Guest Star Gianni Palumbo)
Q: How does the Wendigo arc fit into the larger Wolverine story in this run?
The Wendigo serves as a narrative anchor that blends primal myth with Wolverine's evolving humanity, allowing exploration of vulnerability and violence within a standalone, iconic creature-driven plot.
Wolve-Ween 2025 (1 Year on Wolverine Interview with Saladin Ahmed + Chris Claremont and Frank Miller's Wolverine Vol 1 with Guest Star Gianni Palumbo)
Q: After a year of Wolverine, what has Ahmed learned about scale and character focus?
Ahmed notes that scale allows for mythic, explosive storytelling while still grounding it in human concerns, and that Wolverine's arc benefits from balancing grand plots with the protagonist's personal, emotional journey.
