  • Real mental health talk (with a professional!)

I found Dr. J on TikTok and loved his mental health-related videos, so I was so excited to find his podcast. I appreciate his balance of “real talk” (advice, information, strategies) with “fun talk” (jokes/humor, snippets about his life). His voice sounds like he’s smiling into the mic. Thanks Dr. J! PS love the Ask Me Anything episodes!

  • Share often with friends

I have really enjoyed this podcast and often walk away from episodes feeling seen and like I have a practical application. The tone is light but the conversation is real. I often share episodes with friends, especially when they pertain to conversations we are already having.

  • Dr. J is great!

Dr. J is one of my favorite mental health professionals to follow on social media. He always creates real and relatable content. I was so excited to hear he had a podcast, and even more excited that the first episode was with Kristen Gingrich (@notyouraveragethrpst). I can’t wait to continue to listen to all the amazing guests he has on.
