Bravo for this podcast. more
This is such a timely and necessary podcast for the moment that independent documentary filmmakers are in. This is so well produced, and features voices of some of more forward & radical folks in the doc field as they break down and educate listeners about elements of the industry such as sales agents, festivals & awards campaigns. Aspects of the work that are often had to grasp and understand on a deeper level. Informative, action oriented and inspiring would highly recommend a listen!
This podcast really is radical, necessary and transparent information that every filmmaker needs to know about. This kind of info used to be put forward by organizations like Association of Independent Video and Filmmakers (AIVF) that sadly went away in the early 2000s. As a now “established” filmmaker, I’m just grateful for the ecosystems that this show is being made right now for emerging filmmakers.
