I love listening to an audio on the topic of SDIRA’s. I had no idea this was even an option and love that Matt and Mark take the time to discuss real life examples of what is possible as alternative ways of diversifying your retirement portfolio.
I really like the content and strategies they discuss. However, they often leave out one major detail, that you can’t move your current employer 401k money into a self-directed IRA account, which is often times where most of your retirement money is. Ultimately making all the strategies they’re discussing irrelevant.
Every 5 minutes these guys are just pitching you on their services. I educated myself on how to do this and was looking for a podcast that would talk about all the creative ways people are using these investment tools. But sadly they just ramble on and fluff up their services and make it seem your doing it wrong if you go anywhere else.
Schwab offers this now but their just going to tell you to not go their too.

I listened to one podcast that was 10 rules on disallowed transactions and it was 45 minutes, because there was so much unnecessary dribble. I can’t figure out why they do this. Is their audience this undereducate... more
