I love listening to an audio on the topic of SDIRA’s. I had no idea this was even an option and love that Matt and Mark take the time to discuss real life examples of what is possible as alternative ways of diversifying your retirement portfolio.

Every 5 minutes these guys are just pitching you on their services. I educated myself on how to do this and was looking for a podcast that would talk about all the creative ways people are using these investment tools. I listened to one podcast that was 10 rules on disallowed transactions and it was 45 minutes, because there was so much unnecessary dribble. I can’t figure out why they do this. Is their audience this undereducate... more

A practical, attorney-led show focused on self-directed retirement accounts, especially IRAs and 401(k)s, and how to diversify into non-traditional assets. Episodes commonly cover IRA LLCs (checkbook control), real estate deals, private funds, crypto, and promissory notes, with step-by-step guidance, real-world deal stories, and cautionary notes about prohibited transactions and tax rules like UBTI/UDFI. The hosts frequently spotlight how to structure investments, work with custody and law firms, and access education or advisory services—often including live events or promotions.
