Wanted to love this. Love it in theory. In practice, they don't seem to have a full grasp on anything they're discussing. They often conflate cryptids, symbolic myth, and religious/cultural beliefs. They laugh at all three identically, as well, which is extremely off-putting.
Was trying to be patient with this but just a few eps into my poking around they dropped a Tourette's joke, which seeing as I've been diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome since I was 7 you can imagine I'm exhausted with. Do b... more
Cryptids and conspiracies, with a heaping helping of truth. This show is edgy and fun, with great pacing and banter. I’m loving it!
They seem cool, but they just present things they don’t believe, and don’t really seem to have any conviction. They’re just laughing it up often, and I don’t know what’s so funny.
I love this podcast! I introduced a friend after you did the Copenhagen NY episode. We’ve been to all the locations mentioned in it and are very familiar with the geography. So fun. This show blends humor, casual banter, and a deep dive into cryptids, aliens, and conspiracy lore, all delivered with a drinks-fueled, laid-back vibe. Episodes often feature a rotating cast of regulars and guests who contribute stories, folklore context, and skeptical, entertaining commentary. The format leans into listener-submitted tales, cross-promotional appearances, and thoughtful debate about what's real versus what's sensational, making it approachable for both hardcore cryptid fans and casual curious listeners. Notable strengths include the relaxed host chemistry, frequent guest crossovers from related shows, and an ability to mix folklore with pop culture references in a relatable way for a broad audience.
