I really love this podcast its well put together. This review isn’t really about anything I found wrong with the podcast I was quite shocked to hear Shawn outright confess that they used Kimo up like a used rag and then when his life was in danger they got him ONE night in a hotel room? And then told him he needed to relocate? Just left him on his own to figure it out after he helped so much with their jobs? I think he deserved more than that from you.
You have a plenty big enough following to put up a version with ads. Yes, I know people will complain about those too (that’s because Wondery episodes tend to include more ads than actual content).
It’s a listener’s market in the podcast world. There’s so much content out there. Nothing is so much better than the free stuff that it’s worth paying for. We’re not paying. Give us a free version.
The host is great but I dont like storytelling style and especially the yoga music in background. Its hard to hear and pay attention to the story that feels is rushing.
Stopping after first 10 mins.

A gripping true-crime series that centers on a high-profile Newark criminal defense attorney and the FBI investigation that targets him. Across episodes, listeners get a window into courtroom strategy, legal ethics, and the dangerous gray areas where power, money, and crime collide. The show combines investigative storytelling with insider perspectives from both prosecutors and defense sides, making complex legal and criminal dynamics accessible and tense. A standout aspect is the in-depth, character-driven approach that weighs accountability, loyalty, and the human costs of high-stakes crime.
Notable for its cinematic narration and the way it threads real-world legal stakes with personal stories, this series probably appeals to fans of tr... more
