Crime to Burn offers a unique perspective on both arson and negligence fire cases. April's education and experience in the fields of fire investigation, fire science, and fire safety offer fascinating insights into cause, effect, and changes to these fields over time. It's obvious that April puts a tremendous amount of effort into episode research, including pulling court records. April and Steve's banter (and outtakes) offer balance and relief when the subject matter can be heavy.
A rare find in podcast world, informative and highly entertaining. Your outakes kill me, you two are hilarious, please keep it up.
Great, informative show… plus the banter w/ your husband is fun to listen to.
(Really like it even more since you stopped using the car horn as your censor sound.)

I found this podcast when they did the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire. As a child in the Dayton area when this happened, I was always interested in learning more. This podcast did that horrific incident a true service, honored the victims and the effects this fire had on future buildings and laws. I recommend this podcast completely!
I absolutely LOVE this podcast. April is so well researched, respectfully tell each story, and her voice is soothing while doing it all! Can’t recommend enough.
