As an avid true crime podcast listener this one stands alone. The hosts are criminologists so you are getting expert opinions on thoroughly researched cases. While the topics are hard I appreciate learning from these amazing women. Thank you ladies.
As an non US citizen, i choose to come back to women an crime (for years now) because of the respect Megan and Amy pay to victims, the depth of reflection around the cases and the critics of the flaws of the system (in a non partisan manner, which I understand can be tricky in your country of extremes).
I’m greatly disappointed that the racial question was completely evacuated from their analysis on this case. Yes Lorinsz was found guilty, but systemic racism is still at the heart of what led t... more
I love this podcast! My mom recommended it to me! I love their voices and friendly banter. I watch a lot of true crime documentaries but what I love about this is their analysis of the theory, criminal justice system etc. They are knowledgeable, respectful, non judgemental and professional. But also funny and charming. Sometimes I’ll watch a dateline and then look to see if they covered the case here so I can listen to their breakdown of the case. It’s so much more than just the facts! In the movie, the police officer got to Tracy 30 min later because he went back in the office to “use the bathroom” then he went to her aide!
I really enjoy your informative and no drama podcast. You both have great respect for the other and I love that you teach while telling a story without sensationalism.
I have learned so much about our justice system and crime theory. You have ruined me to most other crime podcasts by the way tell the story. Thank you! ~MDVeil

Episodes frequently highlight systemic issues, shedding light on the challenges facing women both in terms of crime and the broader social implications of their stories.
