Perhaps it’s time to change the name of the podcast. I say this because at the end you have someone say “if you love campus killings”. Really? I get it’s the name of your show but it’s bad optics.
How many podcasts does the world need with a main host constantly interrupted by a supposedly clever cohost’s sassy, funny comments? They are all the same.
These two have voices for the written word. Accents and nasally voices reading a script is boring. The banter is canned and lacking in entertainment value. Lots of mispronounced words as well.
I subscribe to an exorbitant amount of podcasts and I found this one after subscribing to Women and Crime on Patreon. I have learned so much from Amy and Meghan and always appreciate the love, humanity, and knowledge they bring to each episode.
IMO they aren’t trying to be “preachy.” Meghan and Amy take the time to educate and help pose the questions we should be asking. What is justice? Are we approaching crime and punishment in the most informed and fair way possible? How can we make things ... more
