I’m kind of offended that the mention of the killer in the Robin Lawrence case owning books on the occult was evidence that something might have been wrong with him. Lots of perfectly normal people own books like that! It sounds very judgmental.
This is probably my all time favorite podcast. So thoroughly researched and well delivered, sometimes with wry humor.
Original reporting actual journalism. It’s a great podcast that actually teaches you how to protect yourself. My only complaint is I’m not sure how necessary some of the gory details are but it’s not enough to not recommend the show.
Some interesting cases, some riveting, host tends to talks too fast to really embrace the emotions of the cases. But the use of the word quote truly spoils the narrative, totally unnecessary to say quote so many times and then use this verbatim. Just tell us a documentary story…quote quote quote quote…jeez…not for me.
PLEASE don’t begin to put background music in your episodes like in the bonus episode. I really love your podcast but would not be able to listen to you if you have music in the background when your talking. i have M.E./CFS in a severe stage and my brain gets instantly overstimulated if there is also music additionally to your voice. you don’t need music in the background - you have a wonderful voice and your storytelling is amazing. I hope you consider my feedback if my assumption is correct. ... more
