I heard Elise on another podcast and I knew I had to look her up. I am so so so grateful I did. I have been so alone with my food journey. I felt no one else felt this way with food and it helped me realize I am struggling with binge eating, just like my Mom did. I used to treat her so poorly about it and look at her in disgust when she ate or talked about food. I was reflecting my own shame and guilt onto her. She has been gone almost 10 years now, but I was able to release my guilt towards tha... more

I have put on a lot of weight during lockdown, I was living alone, didn't see family or friends for 2 months and was just closed in my room.
I put on lots of weight and got myself into this food ordering I cannot stop until today.

Elise and her perspective has been life-saving for me while recovering from ED. It’s important that she shows the value of balance.
Such a calming voice. It’s impossible to not listen.
Excellent tone and brevity. An accessible podcast about a topic everyone has first person experience with; being embodied. She has a calming voice and is knowledgable in her field. I highly recommend it!
This podcast is such a treat! The quick episodes are so easy to absorb. Elise is so knowledgeable and approachable. It’s like listening to a friend, but it’s a friend who’s an actual professional and has the experience to back it up.
The topics so far have been so relevant, and I think the content is relatable in some way to just about anyone.
I love the positivity, the validation, the conversational tone, and the realness. Highly recommend giving it a listen!

Diets, pills, and supplements flood the market and crutch its users with heavy consequences, both physically and mentally.
Elise’s intuitive eating approach is clear and thoughtful - digging deeper than calories and protein. Her perspective on body ima... more
