I wish I had found this podcast years ago! There is so much to learn about music in these interviews, and there is so much wonderful music here that is new to me. The host is excellent, and she lets her guests take center stage. This is what podcasts should be.
Leah Roseman presents a very wide array of music makers, all of them exceptionally thoughtful, talented and creative. These interviews are well researched and prepared while remaining a very free flow of ideas and a spirited exchange among musical peers.
Amazing podcast for music lovers.
Insightful conversations with amazing musicians. I love that you include the compositions as well. This is a very special podcast for musicians and creatives in general!
Leah Roseman, an extremely fine professional musician herself, is endlessly curious about her fellow musicians. You meet musicians in all sorts of genres .... practice and training habits, instrument building and maintenance, career ups and downs, collaborations and communication, performance anxieties, teaching practices, improvisation, being a multi-instrumentalist, player injuries, the importance of general fitness.. and on and on. Just wonderful!
