  • Amazing Kenyan woman from Food4Education

I heard the most inspiring woman - Wawira was her name. What she achieves is absolutely incredible! To feed 60,000 children in Kenya per day is mind-blowing!! What the rest of us achieve for the human race pales in comparison to what her group is achieving. You couldn’t help but be inspired & challenged to do more. I think you were challenged, Graham too? These are the real heroes!!

  • Suggestion for guest.

I really enjoy listening to your ‘conversations’.

With the Paralympics fast approaching, I think Robyn Smith OAM , CEO of Sport Inclusion Australia and a member of the the International Paralympic Governing Board would be a timely guest. A true champion in her quest for more inclusive practices in sport, Robyn is tireless in her efforts in advocating for people with an intellectual disability to participate in sport at all levels.

  • Tricia and Daryl Hicks

Cornesy, Tricia is the most wonderful lady ever. I have known the family since the 80s and love these two. She is so pure from the heart and when you hear her laugh, it makes me smile. Thank you so much for the podcast. NB - Daryl also ran for the seat of Makin in the 83 election. Great man.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Reuben Kaye
Q: What distinguishes your programming approach for the festival this year?
The aim is to retain Cabaret's core values while pushing boundaries, with a focus on identity, late-night spaces, and a mix of international and local acts that reflect both tradition and anarchic energy.
Reuben Kaye
Q: How does one become the artistic director of a major festival like this?
The process wasn't a simple offer; it started with a request for a conversation about the role, followed by identifying what the person can contribute and what the festival needs, then committing to the work and the meetings to get there.
Jean-Christophie Novelli
Q: What was it like coming into MasterChef Australia after such a storied career?
The guest describes it as a privilege and a mesmerizing yet demanding experience, emphasizing the show's scale, the team behind it, and how it pushes him to evolve as a chef.
Gerard McCabe
Q: How did your family's jewelry business start and evolve over time?
The business began in tailoring, migrated into jewellery during the Depression era, and grew into a multi-generational store; the founder's son and grandson were involved, with the current generation taking over in 1986 and expanding valuations and gemology.
Ant Williams
Q: Why did you decide to pursue freediving specifically as a sport?
Because freediving provided a direct arena to apply mental fitness techniques, measure real progress, and develop credibility by testing himself as an athlete rather than just a coach.
