  • Intellectually & Spiritually enriching

Great podcast to learn from Christian forefathers through history to today. We attended the London tour as well, and were greatly encouraged from the history of our Christian faith. “But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul.” Heb. 10:30. We listen regularly!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Scott Belmore - Abide in Him
Q: What has been your core method for engaging students and building a sustainable campus ministry?
The approach shifted away from relying on big events or gifted speakers to inviting students into honest Bible discussions, practicing hospitality, and partnering with local churches to plant and empower the work.
Scott Belmore - Abide in Him
Q: When you first came to London, how different was it from what you expected, and how long ago did you arrive?
Belmore explains arriving in July 2022 after prior visits, noting a surprising openness to conversations about Christianity and a need for a more relational, hospitality-centered approach rather than traditional campus programs.
Geoff Thomas - Romans One
Q: Could you elaborate a little into the mic here?
Geoff reflects on the moments and people that shaped his faith, emphasizing how early family faith and revival influences softened his heart toward the gospel and sparked lifelong devotion.
Matt Harmon - Stir your Affections for Christ
Q: What are the four simple questions you designed for understanding any passage?
What do we learn about God, what do we learn about people, what do we learn about relating to God, and what do we learn about relating to other people, followed by application questions.
William Tyndale: The Gospel Unchained | Brian Edwards on the Life of Tyndale
Q: What was the extent of the corruption of the Church in England, and how did it get there?
The speaker argues it was widespread and deeply entrenched, with godly pastors existing alongside a powerful, corrupt establishment; reformers faced pressure from Rome and local bishops, while reform-minded scholars and networks gradually shifted the theological center, culminating in a strong push for English Scripture that contradicted papal authority.
