Dr. Ortlund tackles a variety of subjects in his podcast and does a wonderful job. His approach is Biblical, historical, logical, Spirit-lead, and sound.
Lots to commend in these episodes. Gavin is loving, thoughtful, grounded in truth, and all so helpful to be anchored in the Christian faith.
Just good, reasonable, generous apologetics with a focus on church history.
You won’t find a better podcast for irenic, thoughtful treatment of theological issues than Gavin’s. Though I regularly arrive at different conclusions than Dr. Ortlund, I don’t hesitate to listen to what he has to say on the topics he discusses for an honest evaluation and treatment of the underlying aspects of the text of scripture and the broader debate on any given subject.
