Truth Unites is a respectful and intellectually honest podcast that can address straw-men of Protestantism while remaining civil towards other Christians.

I would highly recommend Truth Unites for anyone who needs gospel assurance in Protestantism, as well as for people in other sects of Christianity who want to know more about Protestantism.

  • Refreshing

In a time of theological tribalism where it’s popular to fire up “your side” and villainize those you disagree with, Gavin is well-researched, gracious, charitable, and level-headed. I pray that more Christ followers follow his example. He speaks the truth in a way that shows respect and dignity to those who disagree. Steel-manning the other side of an argument? How novel! Highly recommended.

  • Truth delivered with care and respect

Such a fantastic podcast. Gavin is careful with facts, desires to speak to his opponents with respect, and not misrepresent arguments. The call is to continual humility before the gospel, looking to Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith.

  • The podcast Christianity needs right now

Gavin does such a good job of bringing to light all those little topics modern Christians hope get talked about in public spaces like this. He’s a one stop shop for church history, theology nerd stuff, good biblical exegesis, and more. Young, passionate Christians NEED conversations on creation, evolution, Biblical genre-spotting, etc and why wooden, mostly modern (1800-present) readings of some of these topics INHIBITS faith rather than breeds it. Gavin is probably the best content creator I’ve... more

  • What a gift

This podcast is such a gift. I have had my faith strengthened and challenged. Like many young men today, my husband started asking questions about the church fathers and looking at other churches such as the Orthodox Church. I didn’t know how to respond to his genuine questions until I found Gavin’s YouTube page and started listening. I’ve gained a deeper love and hunger for the Gospel, an assurance of God’s love for me, and a desire to reform the church from within. God has graciously brought m... more
