Really happy to learn more about EO and to hear you holding the EO guys’ feet to the fire. EO is a growing trend and I appreciate you taking the time to have meaningful conversations with these guys; it’s assisted me greatly in understanding the EO perspective and how it differs from scriptural authority
Gavin is a nice guy, but clearly has an agenda despite his frequent professions otherwise. He refuses to acknowledge historical realities that are inconvenient for his beliefs, and holds others to standards that he does not hold himself and his beliefs to.
Young Earth creationism is bonkers. It is a perfect expression of dogmatism, akin to flat Earth nonsense.
I love Gavin’s conciliatory approach to interdenominational dialogue. He clearly wants to improve the conversation and promote understanding, yet without compromising on his convictions. His knowledge of church history has been a great benefit to me, and his thoughtful and measured approach to discussion is so refreshing and centering.
Gavin is awesome! He always has thoughtful information that is communicated with clarity, love, and Christlikeness.
