  • Entertaining and Edifying

I love how these interviews are conducted in person and are a longer format. There are many other Christian podcasts that interview authors who are promoting books but this one is the best!

  • Keep going!

Hi Sean. I so appreciate your podcast platform. Your interviews bring together the body of Christ in a time when it’s all to easy to sit behind a keyboard to type uncharitable comments. Your warm demeanor and yet clear minded questions pulls me in on every episode. I don’t agree with every brother/ sister you may interview, but that’s probably the point of “ room for nuance “. Keep at it brother. I hope one day I can visit you in Decatur sometime soon. Blessings

  • Best long form podcast I listen to. Better than JRE and Lex- content is interesting as well as encouraging and edifying. Many of these episodes cause me to love the Lord Jesus Christ more than before I listened.

Found the pod after your interview on Pastor’s Talk. The podcast is edifying, a wonderful display of God’s work in the church, and I absolutely love your humor! Keep the humility and holiness, and keep up the great work!

The Frontlines Ministries Interview
Q: Who determines when Frontlines should step in with in-person support vs. remote support?
Frontlines prioritizes remote onboarding and ongoing virtual coaching, reserving in-person visits for strategic conferences or specific needs. They provide different modes of engagement (automatic onboarding, white-glove support, and training cohorts) depending on the church's circumstances.
The Frontlines Ministries Interview
Q: What does the onboarding look like for a church using the platform for their missionaries?
Churches install their data and users, invite elders and care team members, and establish care notes workflows. The platform supports training modules, care notes, and pipeline management, with three basic approaches: self-serve onboarding, white-glove setup, and live cohorts led by Frontlines staff.
The Frontlines Ministries Interview
Q: How would Luke be connected to Frontlines once he is identified as a potential missionary candidate?
The process typically starts with the church (the elder board) and includes two pathways: (1) using the platform to shepherd the candidate and embed training; (2) engaging in counseling if needed. In practice, they first present the opportunity to the church, then integrate the candidate into the platform and begin or continue care with the church overseers.
The Religious Freedom Interview
Q: Is America a Christian nation?
It's complicated. We were founded as a nation with religious liberty, and most people were Christian either actively or held a Christian view of reality.
The Religious Freedom Interview
Q: What do you think is going on in this noodle of mine?
You made the connection to history because America is the first nation that contains a legal document that defines the relationship between the church and the state.
