  • Practical Biblical Help

I just listened to the podcast on miscarriage. I’ve listened to many of these episodes but this one was so good that I knew I needed to take time to write a review. I have experienced a late term miscarriage and everything said in this podcast was perfect. It helped me in my grieving. It helped me think through how to help others. It spoke gospel truth to my broken heart. Thank you for bringing light to this topic that can be passed over as a private matter. The church needs to care for each oth... more

  • What a great resource

As a student in a MABC program, this window into conversation with three practicing counselors is such an incredible resource. It’s also so accessible to “sufferers, sheep, and shepherds”. I have both used its wisdom in personal ministry and referred episodes to sisters struggling with specific issues. Thank you for making this!

  • Most Useful

Thank you so much for deciding to do this series. They are efficient conversations, giving general as well as specific and storied advice. I love how the counselors on this show can quote the Scripture relevant to many problems so readily. They could be looking at notes, but through constant use may God’s Word flow that quickly from my heart as applied to personal situations. Please please do a whole series on sexual abuse.

  • As a lay church member, I appreciate the openness and transparency

Came across the podcast through one of the other 9Marks podcasts I subscribe to and started listening from the beginning. There are things here I think about or have wrestled with myself that we don’t really talk about in church and where it can feel like you’d be burdening people unnecessarily if you brought them up. I like how the podcast includes both pastoral and counselor perspectives and is also open and candid about things, not trying to hide the methods of management from lay listeners o... more
