A fantastic episode with HB Charles. So encouraging and not for the first time I stopped doing the washing up and bowed my head and prayed as I was led in prayer at the end of the episode. Thank you so much. Tremendously helpful and encouraging.
Thank you for serving your brothers and sisters in ministry so well. There’s so many tricky pastoral issues and challenges to navigate, but I find your experiences and wisdom incredibly valuable. God bless your work.
This show recently started sounding really good, and I love how Big and Matt are genuine friends!
I love this podcast! The content is biblical, well thought out, and so valuable. The presentation is measured, steady, kind, and joyful. I think this is very much worth listening to for any believer. It will help you know better what the work of a pastor is like, and equip you to better support and pray for them. Being a pastor can be lonely in many ways, so to have fellow pastors speak into the lives of those leading churches is powerful.
This, more than any other podcast in my queue, has caused me to press pause, grab my Bible, and make a note beside a Scripture passage where Matt or Lig gave some fresh insight or pointed application. These brothers are humble, biblical, and wise. And the spectrum covered—age, experience, denominational background—works incredibly well precisely because of that humility and wisdom. Bravo, fellas.
