In Isaiah 6, the prophet sees the Lord and learns his mission. It's a difficult one: "Preach to a bunch of people who won't listen to you. In fact, your preaching will harden them further."
Alex, Jim, and Sam discuss Isaiah 6.
In this episode of Bible Talk, Alex chats with Jim and Sam about Isaiah 5, a sobering passage about God’s judgment.
In this episode of Bible Talk, Alex chats with Jim and Sam about Isaiah 3–4, a poignant passage about—what else?—God's glory in salvation through judgment.
In Isaiah 2, Isaiah envisions a glorious future where all the nations stream to worship the Lord and all their inhabitants lay down their weapons forever. Alex, Jim, and Sam discuss and, for the first time in a while, disagree.

I like the back and forth discussion between all three guys. This is a great podcast for anyone wanting to study and/or understand The Bible. I hope more people will do that.
My brother recommended this podcast to me and I’m so thankful he did and for the research, preparation and meditation of the three guys which is evident in each episode. I have found it so helpful to hear them explain how each passage of Genesis fits into the bigger picture that God is orchestrating. It’s helped me read the Bible in a different and better way, seeing God’s plan for salvation throughout. Thanks guys for this excellent resource.
Wow after reading the Bible multiple times I thought I had a solid understanding of the thread that ties it together but these men taught me so much more. I appreciate the lightness of the talk with the depth of knowledge. Please do the whole Bible
This is one of the best cases for expository preaching that I can think of. The depth and richness of the Bible is on full display. Jim and Sam have had an incredible impact on my own walk with the Lord (“Hallelujah!” *Jim voice*) and I am so grateful for Alex’s constant looking out for the newcomer. These three have a fantastic dynamic and I just pray that the Lord would allow these men to continue this podcast through the span of the whole Bible. Glory to God!
I am not a pastor, but a laywomen. I started listening to this podcast to better help me understand the more difficult books I am reading through in my daily studies (specifically Leviticus-Deut.). It has been immensely helpful, which being highly understandable. The hosts are skilled in bringing every chapter back to Jesus and showing how it means something in our lives today - something that can be hard to see in the Pentateuch as a modern day believer.
