This is one of the greatest crime podcasts I’ve listened to. I love the narration and how it’s a story rather than two people sitting around discussing the crime like every other podcast out there!
I adore Demetria, love the story, the investigation and reporting… but the absolutely absurd sound effects are awful. They are distracting at best and border on disrespectful at times. Even the ‘radio misfits’ intro sounds like a morning zoo show. This is a somber and serious case, and the excessive and ridiculous sound effects and lengthy music breaks totally take me out of the story.
i’ve truly enjoyed this podcast. the only issue i’ve had are the beeps they use to replace the suspects name. I would recommend using fake names in future cases, as it would be easier on the ear.
This is a great podcast and I am hoping that the killer will be determined. Is there anyway that this podcast with polygraph in the title can be captioned. I cannot understand 98 percent of what was being said.
I attended ISU in 1975 and was in a different sorority. I remember when this happened. It was horrible and made a lasting impression on my memory all of these years. My heart broke upon hearing the news as I’d seen Carol around from time to time as we were all involved in Greek life. Hearing this podcast has helped to pull some things together. It’s well done.
