The first several minutes are the hosts pretending that they aren’t reading ads. Then they ramble, with one or the other making random noises every once in a while.
I love this podcast. The banter between them is cute and just enough while the stories are straight forward. Garrett’s point of view from someone not into true crime is refreshing amount the many true crime podcast. Plus being late is disrespectful! And also HOW? There are ppl that are always late and I just don’t understand. Get ready earlier. Anyway you both are great! Keep doing what you’re doing!
Disrespectfully mispronouncing the names of victims, using incorrect words “ex-specially” & “pacifically”, and the worst of all is her vocal fry, also called creaky voice. Muting and reading the subtitles was helping but this latest episode on Netflix didn’t have them for some reason so we just can’t watch or listen, anymore. Also, more accurate research would be better.
Found your podcast by accident on Netflix. And I’m really enjoying listening to you both!!! Looks like I have a long ways to catch up.
Yup… you will retract your statements after you have the baby. Truth. Love you guys and your show too!

A narrative-focused true crime show led by a wife–husband duo who blend meticulous case recap with personal commentary. Episodes center on high-profile murders and disappearances, tracing timelines through police work, forensics, and courtroom outcomes while weaving in hosts' reactions, sponsor breaks, and a conversational banter that keeps complex investigations engaging. Notable through-lines include technology's role in investigations (wearables, DNA, genetic genealogy), the balance between sensational storytelling and victim-centered coverage, and a steady habit of long-form, deeply researched retellings that reward repeat listeners with evolving case context.
