I’ve tried for years to like this podcast, but there aren’t enough brain cells shared between these two to make it tolerable. From mispronouncing 50% of (well-known) cities in their own country, improper use of adjectives and a multitude of English comprehension issues, to having zero idea of basic historical figures and events, I sometimes stare at my phone wide-eyed in disbelief while they speak. Adds absolutely zero to any conversation about true crime, victims, or the justice system. A woman reads word for word off an iPad. A man who adds less than zero to the discussion. I cannot believe this made it to Netflix.
I’ve listened to every episode of this show. It is my all time favorite podcast, and the only true time podcast that I love this much. I LOVE YOU TWO.
I only want my true crime from this podcast from here on out. I love this couple. Peyton’s research is thorough. Even if I’ve seen the case previously, there’s something new in her report. Garret’s commentary is the funniest. I think that’s the win for this podcast.
