  • Edpod BSI series

Have enjoyed this series of edpods immensely - highly entertaining and there is obvious skill in making the highly technical standards content interesting to all, not just the technicians.

  • Fresh viewpoint on a necessary theme!

While the world of standard making me seem rather dull, and at times painful, the presenter does an excellent job of making the journey interesting and applicable to every day life. This is a great podcast for anyone interested in international or national standards, also those who are involved in policymaking, or who just want to make a change for good in this world.

  • Really useful and interesting - listen with a notepad!

I usually listen to this driving but have had to pull over now a couple of times to text myself to re-listen with a notepad handy.

I enjoy the breadth of the subjects and how much can be learned from totally unrelated industries that is useful in my own.

The presenters are professionals at keeping what could be a dry subject entertaining and chatty.

Well worth a listen. If you are totally new the podcast I highly recommend starting with the episode Letters From America.

A major challenge was making the content accessible to non-specialists while retaining rigor; the drafting panel focused on readability, reducing stigma, and ensuring guidance was useful for all organizations, not just suicide prevention professionals, which required balancing lived experience with policy-language constraints.
