I came here for Jay, I didn’t know what to expect since I don’t follow this kind of shows but I got hooked, I’ll give a listen to other episodes and might get into other genres of books I don’t usually read. The chat goes at such a good pace that I didn’t feel it lasts 45 mins.
Really like the informal feel this podcast has. It feels like you are listening to a conversation that Anna and her guest would have while they were walking through a bookshop. Love the passion from Anna and her guests.
Highly recommend
I adore children’s literature as well as Anna’s books so could not be more thrilled that she has created a podcast that celebrates the magic and influence that stories can have but also discusses them objectively as an adult revisiting classic/enduring tales. She and her guests are incredibly fascinating to listen to (I could listen to Anna and Katherine chat all things kidlit for hours!) and her podcast has swiftly become an unmissable favourite for me.
I hear Katherine speak.
As a children’s author you are often smiled at as if you have chosen to be this because you can’t write real books.
This podcast was a joy to listen to.
Loved listening to this insightful conversation with Katherine Rundell. Both Katherine and Anna are so thoughtful, articulate and intelligent. I could listen to them talk literature all day! I can’t wait to hear the other episodes.
