I keep finding more books to read, and I LOVE hearing the women guests share their stories and their favorite books.
Just listened to my first episode with Madeline Miller and absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to get home and download some of her recommendations. Vicki has a lovely interviewing style, could listen all day. Thank you for celebrating women’s writing so effectively.
I absolutely love this podcast. As someone who sometimes puts my favourite hobby of reading on the back burner due to the busyness of life, this podcast inspires me to prioritise reading as a life necessity. Each guest offers different perspectives on both life and books, and I love listening to their individual journeys and connection to and love for literature. I’ve also enjoyed following the Women’s Prize through this podcast. Vic Hope is an excellent host, and I would highly recommend!
I’m only 3 episodes in, having listened to Emma Gannon, Annie Mac and Elizabeth Day. All of which were just fabulous. I now want to slowly but surely work my way through the long list recs.
Love this podcast. Full of amazing book reccs and deep reflections from the guests
