The program centers on freshwater fishing, with a strong emphasis on walleyes in the Great Lakes region, especially Lake Erie. Episodes mix tactical fishing insights (tactics, gear, forward-facing sonar, ice fishing) with behind-the-scenes industry dynamics—content creation, sponsorships, and the evolving media landscape around fishing. Notable strengths include candid storytelling from pro anglers and researchers, long-running debates about technology versus traditional methods, and a community-oriented vibe that blends practical how-to with entertainment.
