  • Great show! But

The guests are awesome but you guys have turned into a couple Don Higgins wannabes, you constantly interrupt guests like you know more than they do. Cody couldn’t even get a full sentence out without you guys chiming in like you’re better hunters than him.

  • Know it all Jared

It sounds like Jared has everything figured out about these whitetail. Everyone brought on to the podcast, he’s constantly interrupting and makes it sound like he would have done things differently, blah blah blah. Come man be better than that.

  • Eh

Great content and guests. I understand everyone has their opinions but when it comes to Ohio it seems they can’t help themselves but whine about baiting like it’s the only issue. When they’re hunting on leases and with outfitters it seems kind of judgy to nit pick someone baiting when they’re hunting food plots and unharvested crop fields…

Love the guests , love the content but can someone tell Jared to shut the hell up and quit interrupting literally everyone. BE BETTER, take a page from your partner, Jeremy .

Great content and guests. Never miss an episode. Met them both at ATA this year and they both seem like down to earth guys that just like to hunt.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What Most Hunters Get Wrong About Big Bucks | HUNTR #324
Q: How do you balance big-deer goals with farming economics?
We assess current habitat, predator dynamics, and deer age structure; sometimes growing habitat and aging deer is prioritized over killing booners immediately to ensure long-term genetic potential and farm value.
Better Deer Hunting Starts With This Change | HUNTR #316
Q: What is the core concern about earned second buck tags in New York?
The group worries that two buck tags in the same season, especially if they can be used with the same weapon, could reduce buck quality and destabilize deer age structure, while not adequately addressing doe population issues.
Ted Nugent UNFILTERED on Hunting, Government & Conservation | HUNTR #317
Q: Ted, what do you think about game laws in general and their impact on conservation?
Game laws should balance conservation with practical hunting freedoms, but Ted argues regulations often overstep, harm access, and are driven by bureaucrats rather than science, advocating for more hands-on management and property-level decisions.
The Strategy Behind Killing Big Bucks in Pennsylvania | HUNTR #311
Q: How did you transition from healthcare to full-time hunting media and consulting?
Two early contract offers demonstrated real financial feasibility; after pivoting away from the traditional TV path, he focused on the internet and documentary-style content, diversifying into property consulting and seed/land management brands to sustain the business.
Why Most Hunting Farms Never Reach Their Potential (ft. Bobby Kendall) | HUNTR #307
Q: How did Bobby get started in buying farms and making a brand around them?
He started with a small 20-acre tract, mortgaged it, and gradually bought larger farms, using equity from sales and creative financing to grow. He aligned branding (The Whitetail Group) with property development, aiming to differentiate his farms and attract buyers through storytelling and architecture of the land.
