  • Review of Audacy’s upload practices

My problem and the reason for my 3 star review is with the way Audacy takes 1 show which lasts 4 hours with commercials on the radio(about 2.5 hours of content) and uploads it multiple times in multiple different lengths. It throws off my “Up Next” queue. You get the (full show) upload, EACH of the 4 individual hours, plus 3-6 short 15 minute clips ... more

The cratering level of talent on a daily WSCR show. I cannot believe people still turn to this station for anything Chicago sports. A brutal listen.

Full Show — April 9, 2026 2026
Q: What was the standout performance in the Cubs series against the Rays?
Colin Ray and Javier Asad delivered starter-level outings, with Asad throwing four hitless innings and Ray going five innings with one run allowed, which solidified their roles and gave the Cubs a two-out-of-three win.
Colin Rea shows he's a viable option in Cubs' rotation in a win over Rays (Hour 1)
Q: What did the discussion say about Colin Rea's role going forward?
Rea is a viable swing option for the Cubs, not a 30-start ace, but a top-depth piece who can contribute significantly in the right matchups.
Could the Bears select a left tackle at No. 25 in NFL Draft? | Take The North
Q: What was your reaction to the vote of confidence in Braxton Jones and the left tackle situation if they don't draft a tackle early?
The group debates whether Braxton Jones could be the long-term answer or if the team should pursue an upgrade, noting injury recovery and how much faith to place in internal development versus outside help.
Could the Bears select a left tackle at No. 25 in NFL Draft? | Take The North
Q: What do you think of offensive line at number 25 and specifically Kadyn Proctor?
Proctor is a high-upside tackle who could be a fit if he's available, though there are concerns about weight and fit with the Bears' development plan; the panel sees him as a compelling discussion point for 25 if he lasts that long.
Dan Wiederer breaks down the Bears' newsy week at NFL owners meetings
Q: What were your takeaways from what George McCaskey and Kevin Warren had to say regarding the stadium?
McCaskey and Warren spoke with optimism about progress but admitted a lot remains unclear, and Wiederer suggested the situation will not be fully resolved until there is more concrete crystallization from the leagues or governing bodies, possibly by mid-June.
