  • Glad to reconnect!

Update 7/2026: Fellow adult milk drinker here…yes, it’s ideal with pasta (and rice Krispy treats). Go Sox!

Been a fan of Bernsie since I graduated college in 1998; it was the classic Boers and Bernstein team. By cracky, Larry Horse is back! I took a break from sports radio and WSCR after Sox hit toilet and some of my own personal situations. I was at gym and remembered I wanted to hear him talk about the Bears and then learned all about the “situation” in March. This is better anyway. The Score... more

  • Disappointed

I’m a fan of Dan, but this podcast seems to be “All Bears All the Time.” I would like to hear more about the White Sox.

  • So smart but so often devolves into narcissistic interests beyond local sports

There is such good stuff here when it comes to sports, but not sure why these smart people could think anyone wants to hear about their children’s pedantic sports achievements or what fish they most recently caught. Here for the intelligent sports takes but the rest is just tired narcissism.

  • Dan and Matt at their very best

DBU shows why podcasting is the perfect medium for all of your favorite radio personalities. Dan and Matt can now be themselves in the best way possible: talking sports without the distraction of useless callers, going “off-topic” without corporate guardrails blunting their passion, being themselves without oppressive sponsorships (or the FCC) directing their every word. If you were a fan of their work on The Score, this is the show you wish their midday show was.

Q: Why not take bites at next year's apple? Does that approach work, and could you keep your powder dry?
Miller agrees that there could be merit to waiting if next year's class is stronger, but cautions that market dynamics and draft position may limit how much time the team has to wait, urging measured experimentation rather than chasing a single fix.
