  • Poor audio

Not that it’s a terrible thing but you can hardly hear Matt Abatacola. He’s the weak link on the show anyways. It sounds very amateurish with Dan coming in loud and clear with obvious professional equipment and Matt must have the Temu version of Dans equipment. Not that Matt adds that much anyways but the sound discrepancy is horrible.

  • WSCR Who?

Somebody told me about The Score when I was home from college back in the summer of 1992. I’ve been a Scorehead ever since. However, since Dan and Matty reunited, I can count the number of times I’ve listened to The Score on one hand.

  • Professionals Please

Really enjoy the show and the regular rotation of professional journalists. But nothing is more aversive on here than the blatant nepotism of putting your kid on the air despite having no professional credentials. It’s insulting to your guests who have worked the beat honestly and your audience who wants to hear experienced sports thoughts.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Matt Miller - ESPN NFL Draft Analyst / NFL insider
Q: How would you explain Micah Parsons' absence to someone with basic football knowledge?
His absence fundamentally alters the entire offensive game plan. He's one of the five most impactful players in the NFL.
Caleb Williams: What's at stake for the Bears QB?
Q: What could this game mean for Caleb Williams on an individual performance level?
It'd be rocket fuel for him if he rises to the occasion and has one of his best games, potentially defining his career.
Bill Huber - SI.com Green Bay Packers beat reporter
Q: How do they prevent Caleb Williams from making these Superman plays or getting throws downfield?
They gotta stop the run better than they did last week. If you stop the run, then you can kind of take away some of that bootleg stuff where he's really lethal.
Bill Huber - SI.com Green Bay Packers beat reporter
Q: How are these guys and the amount of love lost between them?
If LaFleur is annoyed, I don't blame him. But he wants to win this game for far bigger reasons than some January comments.
Bill Huber - SI.com Green Bay Packers beat reporter
Q: What did you see at first? What won you over for the quarterback?
His first two years, he was bottom half of the league in completion percentage and toward the top in interceptions. Now, he's top 10 in completion percentage and has cut back way back on interceptions.
