As a listener the WSCR The Score since day one, listening to this Lawrence Holmes podcast is a throw back to the early day of the Score. He may not be a “Score original” but his show remains us of how the station was back then. From his laidback approach, funny segments, and just being a Fan of Chicago sports makes us wish he had more air time.
I love it when Laurence talks sci fi!
While I appreciate his coverage of Chicago sports, I really do love it when Laurence reviews sci-fi movies.
Love the pod. Content. Length. Knowledge. Humor. And no meatpants.
For someone who claims to have a lot to say, this podcast doesn’t quite deliver. The content often feels self-indulgent and, frankly, a bit dull. It’s not completely unlistenable, but it often teeters on the edge like a professor who makes the lecture about themselves instead of the material - even if it is mainly sports.
