While I appreciate his coverage of Chicago sports, I really do love it when Laurence reviews sci-fi movies.
Love the pod. Content. Length. Knowledge. Humor. And no meatpants.
For someone who claims to have a lot to say, this podcast doesn’t quite deliver. The content often feels self-indulgent and, frankly, a bit dull. It’s not completely unlistenable, but it often teeters on the edge like a professor who makes the lecture about themselves instead of the material - even if it is mainly sports.
I love anything Laurence Holmes. I’ve been listening since the 7pm on the radio days. This pod deserves all the love it gets plus more.
BASS DROP!
Love Laurence and have been a long time fan but I can't recommend this pod until they stop running ICE advertisements. I'm kind of appalled by it and it isn't just here but the Youtube channel as well.
