  • Inside the clubhouse

David. I just heard you say the cubs may be distancing themselves from Matt Shaw because he’s gonna speak at a remembrance of Charlie Kirk. Lol. Aaron Judge said 80 percent of MLB players are conservative. Who cares. You are a total joke and are ruining the weekday morning show and the baseball show. Not to mention the excessive swallowing all the time while drinking your coffee.

  • Mute the host

Would have giving it a 5 star, love the guest they bring on. The production needs to mute the host who’s drinking coffee and shuffling papers while the guest are speaking. Super annoying listening to the sipping and throat clearing of this hosts coffee experience .

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Brad Biggs checks in ahead of Bears' first padded practice (Hour 2)
Q: With Justin Fields' support system and the new blockers, what changes do you expect in the Bears' offensive approach once pads are on and contact starts?
Brad indicated that the practices will reveal more about line interactions and run/pass options, and that the team will lean on veteran presence at center and the depth along the line to establish a steadier attacking approach as training camp progresses.
Brad Biggs checks in ahead of Bears' first padded practice (Hour 2)
Q: Brad, who do you want to see most in pads among the offensive linemen, and how do you expect Braxton Jones to respond to the increased intensity?
Brad emphasized watching the offensive line's order of rotation, anticipated competition, and Braxton Jones' potential to regain confidence and strength after previous injuries, suggesting a higher level of performance could unlock the unit's effectiveness.
Bruce Levine wants to know what do the Chicago Cubs do with Jameson Taillon
Q: What do you do with Jameson Taillon?
Bruce suggests a cautious approach: consider possible IL time or a temporary shutdown, avoid an immediate DFA unless necessary, and explore whether Taillon can still contribute in some role, while weighing the Cubs' long-term pitching strategy.
Tony Andracki expects the Cubs to do more than last year at the MLB Trade Deadline
Q: Are you expecting a huge impact move at the trade deadline?
Not a radical, top-of-the-chain move, but I expect the Cubs to be more aggressive than last year, adding starting pitching and bullpen depth while navigating market prices.
Jon Heyman still likes the White Sox
Q: What's your take on the Otani interpreter controversy and its potential impact on Otani or MLB coverage?
Heyman downplays direct impact on Otani's performance, arguing he avoids the media and that the issue may influence media narratives more than the player's on-field results.
