  • Unsubscribing because of fake episodes

I was open to giving this show a chance and enjoyed the first episodes I listened to. I’m unsubscribing after the first week because of the onslaught of episode clips posted to the feed.

Incredibly annoying. Zero benefit to the listeners. Just ruins my podcast feed.

There’s a reason zero other podcasts do this.

  • Love the show, but I do disagree on some points

I do think that Dan is judging too early on Trapillo just taking either the Left or Right Tackle position with nothing standing in his way. He has looked very good in helmet, t-shirt and shorts. But he won’t beat out Darnell Wright (a 1st round pick, who has played well) on the right side. And Braxton Jones who is just capable, has 3 seasons of experience against NFL rushers. Until we see Trapillo in action with the pads we shouldn’t make that assumption.

  • Enjoyable Podcast

How can there be any talk of not taking any position other than a left tackle in the 1st round?

  • Love it, except…

Longtime listener, Grote and Dan are great together. Please no more Studz on air. More interviews, and no more little broken up segments that make me think there’s new episodes! Would be 5 stars otherwise.

[FULL EPISODE] How do we feel about this Bears draft class?
Q: Are the Bears a better team after the draft than last year?
The hosts acknowledge it's not a simple yes or no; improvement will come from how players develop, the scheme fit, and the coaching staff's ability to utilize these players, with a focus on growth from younger players and continuity.
We didn't expect Dillon Thieneman to be available for the Bears at No. 25 overall
Q: What was the turning point that made the Bears pull the trigger on Thieneman at 25?
They felt the player was a clear best fit on their board, offering immediate starting potential and aligning with the team's fast, aggressive defensive identity, which outweighed other options on the board.
What type of stadium will the Bears build?
Q: What can you borrow from other stadiums' playbooks as you move toward completion?
Lessons include ensuring the stadium reflects the home environment, prioritizing robust tailgating, mixed-use development, and creating a sense of Chicago in the design and surroundings.
What type of stadium will the Bears build?
Q: Are there things that test your patience because other places are moving at different rates?
Patience is required, but each stadium project is different and the focus should be on fitting the home environment and delivering a strong game-day experience rather than rushing aesthetics.
George McCaskey thinks Bears fans could handle an Indiana stadium
Q: What was the core question about whether the Bears' stadium money would affect football operations, and what was the answer?
The hosts asked if the money needed to build the stadium would impact roster construction, and McCaskey replied that the stadium funding and football operations are two separate entities, assuring that football needs would not be sacrificed for the stadium project.
