  • What’s with the tiny episodes??

I used to listen to this podcast exclusively to get my Bears fix. But I can’t do it anymore because of these tiny episodes. 1/5th of the episode but all the ads!

  • Unsubscribing because of fake episodes

I was open to giving this show a chance and enjoyed the first episodes I listened to. I’m unsubscribing after the first week because of the onslaught of episode clips posted to the feed.

Incredibly annoying. Zero benefit to the listeners. Just ruins my podcast feed.

There’s a reason zero other podcasts do this.

  • Love the show, but I do disagree on some points

I do think that Dan is judging too early on Trapillo just taking either the Left or Right Tackle position with nothing standing in his way. He has looked very good in helmet, t-shirt and shorts. But he won’t beat out Darnell Wright (a 1st round pick, who has played well) on the right side. And Braxton Jones who is just capable, has 3 seasons of experience against NFL rushers. Until we see Trapillo in action with the pads we shouldn’t make that assumption.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

[FULL EPISODE] Can we call Caleb Williams a "good" QB yet?
Q: What did Mark Schlereth mean when he said Williams isn't a good quarterback yet?
Schlereth argued Williams isn't there yet in terms of playing on schedule and sustaining consistent, efficient drives, though he acknowledged Williams' elite playmaking and potential if he develops footwork and accuracy.
[FULL EPISODE] (Another) Mailbag episode!
Q: Is there a make-or-break element to Rome Odunze's season?
It's viewed as a significant year that could shape his contract trajectory, but not necessarily make-or-break; the team hopes for continued development and a pathway to a bigger role.
BONUS: Dan Wiederer reacts to DJ Moore trade on 104.3 The Score
Q: Dan, what is your initial reaction to this?
It's been a busy week with the DJ Moore trade, and the Bears are entering a phase where they must replace production, leverage draft capital, and recalibrate the offense, all while trying to maintain a path to a championship roster.
[FULL EPISODE] State representative Kam Buckner doesn't think the Bears are done with Illinois
Q: Given the two concurrent bills, could a special session be called this summer to speed up the Bears' process in Illinois?
Buckner explains that a special session would only be called if there is a deal, with two bills potentially providing a path forward; the decision hinges on which bill best fits the Bears' needs and whether momentum exists to land an agreement in Illinois.
[FULL EPISODE] State representative Kam Buckner doesn't think the Bears are done with Illinois
Q: Are the Bears negotiating in good faith with the state of Illinois?
Buckner suggests that while parts of the talks were not in good faith historically, there are now genuine, good-faith conversations underway, and he emphasizes listening carefully to what Bears leadership is saying as negotiations continue.
