  • What’s with the tiny episodes??

I used to listen to this podcast exclusively to get my Bears fix. But I can’t do it anymore because of these tiny episodes. 1/5th of the episode but all the ads!

  • Unsubscribing because of fake episodes

I was open to giving this show a chance and enjoyed the first episodes I listened to. I’m unsubscribing after the first week because of the onslaught of episode clips posted to the feed.

Incredibly annoying. Zero benefit to the listeners. Just ruins my podcast feed.

There’s a reason zero other podcasts do this.

  • Love the show, but I do disagree on some points

I do think that Dan is judging too early on Trapillo just taking either the Left or Right Tackle position with nothing standing in his way. He has looked very good in helmet, t-shirt and shorts. But he won’t beat out Darnell Wright (a 1st round pick, who has played well) on the right side. And Braxton Jones who is just capable, has 3 seasons of experience against NFL rushers. Until we see Trapillo in action with the pads we shouldn’t make that assumption.

[FULL EPISODE] Mike Sando breaks down The Athletic's QB tiers list
Q: Mike, can you walk us through your quarterback tiers methodology and why it isn't simply a raw ranking list?
The tiers are built from a broad survey of how veterans and executives view quarterbacks, focusing on criteria like consistency, leadership, and how a player elevates the team around him, not just raw talent, which is why it's more than a simple ranking.
BONUS: Dan Wiederer talks latest Bears training camp injuries on 104.3 The Score
Q: How precautionary does this all feel when you see players leaving practice early and not returning?
It's treated on a case-by-case basis, with a focus on long-term health and ensuring players can return with full strength for the start of the season, rather than rushing anyone back.
What does Ben Johnson think Caleb Williams needs to do to be an elite QB?
Q: What do you deem Caleb Williams's elite traits to be?
Williams has elite arm talent, playmaking ability, and escape ability; he also has the overall package that can make him a top-tier quarterback if consistency is maintained over a full game.
[FULL EPISODE] A Take The North superfan brings us Bears questions!
Q: Robert asks the hosts what questions the fans want to ask Take The North, and to kick things off.
Dan and Mark welcome the questions, framing the segment as a fan-first Q&A and then guiding the discussion toward fantasy-football angles and roster speculation.
Bears fans are excited about Caleb Williams & Ben Johnson
Q: What stood out most from the Bears Fan Survey about Caleb Williams?
