  • Podcast sound issues?

Would rate it a 5 but as a podcast listener, frustrating that the sound is loud for one host and can’t hardly hear another host. Then the music. How come in this day and age?

  • Guest interviews are worth it

I use this podcast for the guests (players/coaches) interviews. I skip through the preamble and post interview break downs. Unfortunately, I’ve lost interest in the radio guys opinions that are broken apart by the sponsor reads Jeff J has to do.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Logan Jones, Keyshaun Elliott excited for rookie seasons | Bears Weekly
Q: Jim, do you like the idea that he's a former defensive lineman recruited for the first couple years at Iowa and what he picked up from that to help him be an effective center in the National Football League?
Jim Miller explains that Jones' background gives him extra knowledge of defensive fronts, technique, and angles, which should help him transition to center and anticipate defenses, especially with a pro-style offense and a clear path to contributing in multiple phases.
Anthony Herron on NFL career, covering the Bears | Bears, etc. Podcast
Q: What stood out about Caleb Williams as he enters year two with Ben Johnson, especially in terms of leadership and adapting to the Bears' offense?
Herron explains that Caleb Williams showed increased ownership of the huddle, matured handling of the offense, and the importance of fine-tuning the system to match his quarterback strengths while players around him adapt.
Anthony Herron on NFL career, covering the Bears | Bears, etc. Podcast
Q: Can you tell us about your experience in the last game at the Pontiac Silverdome and what that was like transitioning to Ford Field next year?
Herron shares that the Silverdome game felt surreal and describes the transition to Ford Field as part of a broader career journey, reflecting on the facility differences and the emotional memory of facing top competition in that era.
Devin Bush on importance of speed, recognition | Bears Weekly Podcast
Q: What do you see as the biggest challenge transitioning to the Bears' defensive scheme?
Adjusting to the new environment, learning the communication with the new teammates, and fitting into a versatile, hybrid defense that can pressure, drop, and cover in multiple looks.
Devin Bush on importance of speed, recognition | Bears Weekly Podcast
Q: Devin, how does your speed and recognition translate to this defense, and how important is it to play fast with awareness?
Bush explains that speed is foundational but recognition lets him play faster without always hitting 4-4 speed; understanding schemes and leverage lets him adjust on the fly and be effective against a variety of plays.
