  • Batfan’s unite!

Really fun mix of people in an environment that makes you feel like you’re joining in on a convo at a local comic shop, but with the added bonus of having excellent guests.

  • First time listener. Commentary isn't bad but I stopped listening after 10 minutes because of hose bad the audio quality is. Don't even bother listening with headphones. Someone is making non stop noise in the background and doesn't know how to mute their mic when not talking. Was super pumped and immediately let down.

Ep 316 - Kelley Jones 6th Annual Halloween Spooktacular
Q: What are your recommendations for Halloween movies?
I would recommend "Curse of the Demon" and "Fright Night" among others as perfect Halloween films.
Ep 316 - Kelley Jones 6th Annual Halloween Spooktacular
Q: How were Matt's scripts for the Dracula book?
I think what Matt does is he so stresses characterization that the dialogue is perfect. He describes where they're at and what's going on, but lets me fill in the details.
Ep 316 - Kelley Jones 6th Annual Halloween Spooktacular
Q: What is the process for you to conceptualize what this would look like?
I think if you’re lucky enough to get a fully realized description on the page, they start visualizing in your head.
Ep 324 - Caspar Wijngaard - Creating The Power Fantasy
Q: Can you share your origin story in comics? What was the starting point?
My journey into comics started with influences from Akira Toriyama and I began by copying artwork from Japanese manga that my dad would bring home. Eventually, my exposure to American comics from my dad’s second wife’s brother introduced me to classics like the original Spider-Man and X-Men.
