As a parent who also adopted from foster care, I was looking forward to this podcast. Listened to their most recent episode and their child’s adoption day and the topic was only a brief aside. They constantly mentioned not wanting to brag or sound entitled, but that is exactly how it came across. Won’t listen again.

Love your podcast. I found out about it when my husband bought a motorcycle from Joel. I am a DCS employee, I hate that you have had so much struggle with the worker, but totally get it and understand, unfortunately that’s the effects of government and what it allows employees to be. My husband and I are going to be applying to be foster parents very soon and your podcast has been very helpful on what to expect. CPS (the side I work) is very different than C&F/Foster Care side of the house. Anyw... more
