This review is long overdue, but I can’t fully express how incredibly valuable this podcast has been for me. As a parent of a strong-willed child, it often feels like there’s no guidebook and this podcast comes the closest. The advice is practical, realistic, and deeply validating.
As a strong-willed adult and a former strong-willed child myself, some episodes genuinely bring me to tears. It feels like, finally, someone truly understands.
I love Kirk and the calm parenting podcast! If I get off track with listening to the podcast and then struggle with being short or irritated with my high energy/ high sensitivity kiddo; this podcast helps me reset. It helps me pivot my thinking to a connection and common sense focus. Verses a societal, rigid mindset. If you feel frustrated or like you are messing up, Kirk provides compassionate, real world guidance. Thank you for this resource!
