  • Grounded and DOING

Stacey Abrams…what can I say? My favorite quote of hers is “hopes and dreams without a plan are just wishes” and particularly in 2025 she just is honest about her truth and keeps going, keeps planning and adjusting and I love listening because she believes in the power of the people and shares her plan so I can get my consciousness raised and keep going head up and strong hearted.

What a fantastic episode. Seriously, I learned so much. And I’m feeling inspired and energized to keep going again. Grateful to know there are leaders and organizers who are intellectually honest, are trying different tactics, acknowledge the risks they’re taking and are keeping the pedal to the metal. So grateful.

73: Here’s How Democrats Can Win Back Latino Voters
Q: So Clarissa, why is it important then based on what Chuck is saying, why is it important that we start building a class of Latino political operatives who can authentically engage with these communities?
Voters can smell inauthenticity, so it's essential for candidates to build teams that reflect their communities.
73: Here’s How Democrats Can Win Back Latino Voters
Q: So Chuck, what do you wish more politicians and consultants understood about state level engagement of Latino voters and about Latino non-voters?
Politicians have to put the investment in to actually have the conversation with Latino voters, just as they do with other groups.
72: America’s Affordability Crisis and How MAGA is Making it Worse
Q: What role do your colleagues have in this economy and this affordability crisis?
Republicans in Congress have not exercised their Article 1 powers to check the president, thereby failing to address the affordability crisis and its impact on constituents.
72: America’s Affordability Crisis and How MAGA is Making it Worse
Q: Can you walk us through that moment and talk about why it is so important that we keep talking about the Epstein files and what it means for accountability in this country?
It's vital that survivors get the acknowledgment and accountability they deserve, and highlighting the mishandling of the Epstein files exposes systemic failures in justice.
