  • Time to take a stand Alex.

Your interview with Abdul El Sayed has me thinking, why do you think we in America need to focus on a Jewish state? Why can’t we focus on our own country and make sure people are taken care of here? Israel can take care of itself.

  • Gratitude

Absolutely love your show! Disappointed I didn’t know of your Showtime show back in the day.

I heard some disturbing news and I thought you’d be interested in getting to the bottom of this possible story. I heard that children in our ‘concentration camps’ are now pregnant. Of all the things, this has to be the worst of the worst.

Keep fighting the good fight and thank you.

  • Favorite! Even when the episode is last week’s!

I have the suspicion that Alex wants to do more than one episode a week based on how EVERWHERE she seems to be. And I’m decidedly not complaining. Alex, you’re my fave!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What’s Next for Voting Rights, and Why Activism Matters (w/ Jane Fonda)
Q: Can Stacey walk through the math of how states with large Black populations have so little representation for their Black citizens?
The math behind representation is rooted in how districts are drawn and the history of gerrymandering, but the core message is that communities must stay organized, insist on fair maps, and leverage voting power at local and state levels to amplify Black voters' voices.
What’s Next for Voting Rights, and Why Activism Matters (w/ Jane Fonda)
Q: What advice would you give to people who are going to be redistricted by this effort? What can we do to fight back?
Convey that redistricting is about serving the people, encourage turnout, organize locally, and participate in community efforts to protect fair maps, emphasizing that political power is built by persistent voter engagement and local action.
“They’re Hunting Latino Men”
Q: What is the current sentiment among swing voters about immigration policy given the recent events?
Swing voters show skepticism toward DHS and distrust of federal narratives, while many still want a secure border; the overarching sentiment is that leadership and accountability matter, with some openness to reform.
Trump's Black Box Presidency
Q: Does Trump actually receive an accurate picture of what's happening in Iran and around oil supply chains?
Haberman suggests Trump is surrounded by a tight circle and is likely aware of broader strategic issues, but the information flow to the public is highly controlled and selectively disclosed, leading to a distorted public understanding.
Trump Loses His Base
Q: What is the state of Trump's coalition and where might it be headed next?
The guest argues the coalition is fracturing; independents and certain base groups are drifting, with potential realignments around environmental and health issues and possibly Israel, which could reshape the 2028 landscape.
